Success story of Neelam

Neelam: a student trained under the Prime Minister's Skill Development Scheme

Neelam, who comes from Chak Devanand village in Chaka Block, Prayagraj, has achieved her dreams despite many struggles. Born on 4th May 2001, Neelam completed her graduation. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, she did a 300-hour course in Self-Employed Tailor from Ruchi's Institute of Creative Art Prayagraj. During this course, Neelam gained deep knowledge of stitching, embroidery, and drafting.

Neelam is also skilled in beautician work. After completing her training, she opened her own Rajni Beauty Parlour and Stitching Center. With her talent, she not only became self-reliant but also started providing jobs to others.

Neelam says that learning a skill and starting your own business is a good beginning. She believes that education programs like the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana are very helpful for young people.
